The chain is very easy to install.

1) remove the nut and plastic cover.

2) Lay out chain

3) Put chain in sprocket and line up bar on gearcase slider. Make sure adjuster peg is in one of the hole on the bar. Also check that chain is properly in grooves of bar. Note orientation of the tips on inside of chain links.

4) Put back on cover and hand tighten nut.

5) Adjust chain tension.

6) Chain should almost pull out of groove when pulled away from bar.

7) Tighten nut with spanner wrench

8) Check that chain slides easily. Use glove or protector to avoid cutting hands on chain.
